Under an A320 wing capturing an A330 during it's taxi for another long-haul flight departing Lisbon (LPPT), while a TAP Maintenance and Engineering (TAP ME) vehicle stands next to our A320 as TAP ME professionals do their final checkings to deliver this A320 to us in perfect condition for our outbound flight from Lisbon to Copenhagen (EKCH).
Captured Pics
Pictures taken by myself of aiports, planes, weather,... and all the surroundings of the operation in an airline carrier. Initially I flew the Fokker 100 for 2 ½ years then upgraded to the A320 family, which I flew for 3 years, and at the moment flying the A330 and A340! View, enjoy and comment them! Please leave your email in your comment so I can reply to you.

Double Encounter
First picture: one Air Transat's A310-300 during cruise on it's return flight to Montreal, Canada (CYUL) from Lyon, France (LFLL).
Second picture: one Air Transat's A310-300 upon its arrival at Porto, Portugal (LPPR) after a transatlantic flight from Toronto, Canada (CYYZ).
But hey guys, these two pictures have more in common than just simply being two A310-300 in Air Transat's colours captured in European skies. With a fleet of 11 A310-300's, I managed to capture the same aircraft, C-GTSW, on the same week. I tried my luck on the lottery that week, with no success...

Nice from the East
Not very often in use are rwys 22L/R at Nice (LFMN), which give us an amazing approach and a fantastic view of Monaco on the French Riviera. Well known for the Monaco Grand Prix, the Le Grand Casino, the Monte Carlo Rally among other events and atractions, it's a very appellative place to visit during any time of the year. Captured on this picture is the only deep-water port in Monaco - Port Hercule.
The Baie de Villefranche.
Another view of the Baie de Villefranche with the Mont Baron in the foreground.

Sabadell Holding
On one of my last flights as first officer on the Fokker F100, from Lisbon (LPPT) to Barcelona (LEBL), we were given the CASPE4T arrival for runway 25R. During the descent on the STAR, ATC told us to hold at Sabadell VOR (SLL). Here is the capture of the the Navigation Display with part of the STAR displayed, the holding inserted and the ILS for runway 25R. We performed an entire holding and when inbound SLL VOR on the second holding were instructed to leave SLL VOR on heading 090º for radar vectors for the ILS approach.

Africa in Europe
Airlinair's ATR42-500 at Lyon (LFLL) ramp while the sun sets creating this fantastic image with nice colors and contrasts. Airlinair was the first European operator of the ATR42/72 turboprop, and counts with 25 of these variants today for it's regional routes.
The combination of the sunset colors, that cumulus clouds formation and the blue sky remind me of Africa...

Barcelona @ FL350
A great shot of the city of Barcelona (Spain) and it's surroundings. Clearly visible are the Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes (or simply Gran Via) and the Avinguda Diagonal. These two major avenues of Barcelona cross at the Plaça de les Glòries Catalanes (often shortened to Glòries).
At the left side you can see the huge port of Barcelona and right above it the El Prat airport (LEBL).

A330-200
As we were at holding point runway 03 at Lisbon (LPPT) airport, I captured one of TAP's 12 Airbus A330-200 crossing runway 03 threshold about to land in this mangificent sunny day. Tail and winglet detail.
Detail of the Pratt & Whitney engine, that powers 7 of 12 A330-200 that TAP operates. The other 5 are powerd by General Electric engines.

A319 CJ
First rays of the day were just coming out while we were at holding point C1, I captured this Airbus A319 CJ from Azerbaijan Government on it's ILS approach for runway 04L at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (LFMN). We were then cleared to cross runway 04L then taxi to and line up runway 04R and report ready for departure towards Lisbon (LPPT).

De Gaulle Tour
While refueling, this Lufthansa's A319 was parking on stand X8, just behind us. Was already stopped and waiting for the signs of the marshall to confirm that the chocks were placed (you can notice that there are two guys placing them on the main gears).
Airbus double-decker departing from runway 27L. Always impressive!

Two B777-300ER during our taxi. The Air France B777 is wearing the new scheme of the French flag carrier. This aircraft has 10, yes, 10 doors. With 73,9m of length, this airliner is one of the longest commercial aircraft, just being overtaken by the A340-600 that has 75,3m. Air France was the launch customer for the B777-300ER.
Everytime I see one of Qatar's A330, it reminds me of a friend of mine who's a First Officer at Qatar Airways. Once again, this is for you Nardon.
The B767-300ER in two different North American colours. Captured during their taxi to the active runway.
