While refueling, this Lufthansa's A319 was parking on stand X8, just behind us. Was already stopped and waiting for the signs of the marshall to confirm that the chocks were placed (you can notice that there are two guys placing them on the main gears).
Airbus double-decker departing from runway 27L. Always impressive! Two B777-300ER during our taxi. The Air France B777 is wearing the new scheme of the French flag carrier. This aircraft has 10, yes, 10 doors. With 73,9m of length, this airliner is one of the longest commercial aircraft, just being overtaken by the A340-600 that has 75,3m. Air France was the launch customer for the B777-300ER. Everytime I see one of Qatar's A330, it reminds me of a friend of mine who's a First Officer at Qatar Airways. Once again, this is for you Nardon. The B767-300ER in two different North American colours. Captured during their taxi to the active runway. On our taxi for departure, I captured Air France's Concorde F-BVFF which can been seen in display at Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport. Here, the supersonic airplane was under some minor maintenece/cleaning. Always a good sight for those who love this airplane. We where number 2 for departure, just after this Middle East Airlines A330-200 powers up for another journey back home to Beirut, Lebanon. Our route was to Oporto (LPPR).
During our 45min turnaround at Barcelona (LEBL), I captured ''Speedbird 484'' on a short final for runway 07L. During taxi out from our stand to holding point of runway 07R, I had the opportunity to capture El Prat's Control Tower, with it's good looking. This day we did the early LIS-BCN-LIS route (Lisbon-Barcelona-Lisbon).
We were returning from Nice Cote d'Azur (LFMN) about to enter Lisbon FIR (LPPC) and this Iberia A340-300 was 1000ft above us on it's way to Madrid, Barajas (LEMD).
We were at the holding point of rwy 26L at London, Gatwick (EGKK), and were presented with this unforgetable approach of Qatars' A330-200. During all it's way down the glide, heavy condensation was forming above it's wings, transforming this approach in somethnig special. This is for you Nardon!
I captured this A320-211 from Iberia with the OneWorld markings, at FL110 as it was inboud to London, Heathrow (EGLL), while we were at FL100 just after departure from London, Gatwick (EGKK), returning to Lisbon (LPPT). EC-FDB is the first Iberia aircraft wearing the special scheme.
Already established on the ILS 18R (also knonw as the Polderbaan at Schiphol, EHAM), I captured these eolic generators appearing through the fog. Travelling as extra crew.
During our taxi-out, from stand B11 to runway 09 for the LEKKO 1N departure, this KLM MD11 leads the way to the holding point. You can hardly see, under it's right wing, a KLM A330 entering runway 09 for take off.A couple of days after the pictures above, again at Schiphol (EHAM), this time taxing from stand B9 to runway 36L for the LEKKO 1V departure, this China Airlines B747-400 is cleared to cross runway 18C-36C at W5 interssection, as it crosses in front of us. Here, already reached runway 36L holding point, we were cleared to line-up and wait behind this departing Malevs' F70.
